Please respect the property and treat it with care. Any breakages should be reported using the breakages form in the Welcome Pack and paid for on departure.

We are a smoke-free property; no smoking or vaping is allowed inside the building. There are smoke detectors throughout the building which will activate if they detect any smoke.
We ask that there are no naked flames, fires or candles used in the house other than supervised birthday cake candles.

You are welcome to decorate the Sheep House for parties and celebrations, we just ask that you fix decorations with no damaging fixers and remove all decorations, disposing of them appropriately on departure. Please do not hang anything from the chandelier.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with equipment. Please make sure everything is clean and returned to its original storage location on departure.

Parking for eight cars is available at the front of the Sheep House. Please don’t park on the road as this obstructs passing traffic. If you require additional parking, speak to us.

Please leave all rubbish in the bins provided at the front of the property and make sure any dog waste is cleaned from the gardens.

Any beds that have been slept in should be stripped, and the bedding left in the bags provided on top of the washer-dryer. Please leave any used towels in a pile with the bedding.

As we are in an area with other residents, we ask that music is kept to a reasonable volume both inside and outside.

Both hot tubs will be available for the duration of your stay. To keep them in good condition, please shower before using them. Do not add anything to the water, no oils, bubble bath or bath salts, as this may damage the filters. No babies or children under 5 years old in the hot tubs, and children over 5 should be supervised at all times.

Please respect our neighbours while using the hot tubs and outside areas. We ask that you vacate the hot tubs by 10 pm and replace all the covers after use.

Dogs are welcome at the Old Sheep House, but please tidy up after them. No puppies or training dogs, and you are liable for any damage caused. Please do not leave any dogs in the house unattended, and keep them off the sofas and beds.

The land around the Sheep House is part of a working farm, and as such, the fields around the barn contain livestock. Please keep dogs contained in the garden area, and do not let them out into the surrounding fields. Please do not allow children to play or ‘explore’ in the surrounding fields.

We reserve the right to withdraw accommodation at any time if we feel that your behaviour is inappropriate and could cause damage to the property or upset to our neighbours.

Although we make no additional charge for the electricity and Wi-fi, we do ask that you use it fairly. Please turn off lights when not in use and turn outside lights off during the day.

Please close all windows, especially the upstairs skylights, on departure.
